Eat the rainbow

I can sing a rainbow but can you eat one…..

We can all sing a rainbow. Did you know we should be eating a rainbow ?

Foods with vibrant colors like red, orange, green, blue and even white are full of wonderful nutrients your body needs and craves. Vitamins like A, C and K, as well as magnesium, potassium, and iron will keep your body happy and healthy.

Be sure to do nothing else when you eat, take the time to sit down….even if it is on your own. I like to imagine all the juicy colours giving my body energy as I chew and swallow.

After all food is fuel, fuel we should take the time to truly enjoy.

Did you know that many of doTERRA’s essential oils are food grade? Meaning you can rev up the flavour factor big time. Be sure to go easy – remember these essential oils are 50-70 times more potent than the plant itself. You can always away but can’t take it out once you’ve added it to your food creation.

Add several drops of lemon and/or rosemary essential oil to your hummus dip next time you are entertaining. Consider adding a little lavender essential oil to the icing mixture for cupcakes. Marinate your BBQ meat or fish with our range of herb essential oils, thyme, rosemary, marjoram and dill. Next time you make home made pesto – pop a drop of basil essential oil in the mix to liven up the flavour.
